DR. BIN-SALIH CALLS FOR TEAM-WORK AMONG RCC STAFF

The Upper East Regional Minister, Hon. Dr. Hafiz Bin-Salih, has admonished staff of the Regional Coordinating Council (RCC ) to prioritize team-work to achieve government’s agenda for the region.

He underscored team-work as a singular most important tool that if effectively adopted, would unearth individual’s skills and talents towards the realization of government’s vision of alleviating poverty and improvement in the living standards of citizens.

The Minister gave the advise at a management meeting of the RCC to introduce his vision and mission to staff of the Council.

He assured staff that he would operate an open-door policy, and urged them not to hesitate to approach his office on issues of concern, so that together, they work to achieve their targets for the region.

He further advised Unit Heads to be disciplined, to enable them control their subordinates, noting that he would not tolerate lateness and absenteeism.

The Minister advised staff against partisan politics and encouraged them to support the government of the day.

“Brace yourself up for the task ahead, no room to relax, it is work, work and work. I am a field person, I don’t sit in the office. I go to the field to see things for myself, and remember, the destiny of the region lies on us,” he said.
