The Upper East Regional Minister, Hon. Stephen Yakubu has joined thousands of mourners to mark the Seventh Day Adua of former Upper East Regional Chief Imam, late Chief Imam Sheik Alhaji Tahir Saeed in Bolgatanga over the weekend.
Some dignitaries who joined the family of late Chief include Hon. Isaac Adongo, Member of Parliament of Bolgatanga Central, Former Upper East Regional Minister Hon. Rockson Ayine Bukari, some traditional authorities, the spiritual leader of Tijania sect in Northern Region, the Regional Executives of the New Patriotic Party (N.P.P.) among other faithful Muslims community across the country.
In his short consolatory message, Hon. Yakubu said the late Chief Imam had gone to prepare a place for them where they all hope to be one day after their lives on earth here come to an end.
He called on the faithful Muslims to pray to the Almighty Allah to grant him a peaceful repose till they meet one day.
